The photos show the apartment empty as we move in MAY 1st.

The apartment is super high end, on the 6th floor of an elevator building with hardwood floors through out, marble bathroom, granite countertops and gourmet kitchen. Two juliet balconies overlook a lovely courtyard and the Manhattan Bridge and East River.

The apartment will be furnished (when we move in May 1st!) with a queen size bed, designer furniture from Eames, Phillipe Starck, etc. I am an interior designer, and can show photos of my current apartment so you can get a feel for the furnishings.

Kitchen is fully equipped (I love to cook) and we have cable TV, wireless internet, stereo speakers, etc.

Dumbo is an awesome neighborhood- we are moving there after years in Manhattan in neighborhoods like SoHo and the East Village. It feels like old New York with cobble stone streets, views everywhere of the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges and the East River and amazing NYC Skyline views. Dumbo stands for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass and is located between the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges, the FIRST stop into Brooklyn. Subways that go directly to Dumbo are the F, A, C and the water taxi is located right there as well (we will commute to work on the water taxi every morning). The neighborhood has 2 beautiful parks, great food and groceries, restaurants and bars.

We would like whomever we swap with to have a few skype sessions to get to know you and for you to get to know us, so we can be assured it will be a good fit. We are a young couple who work in finance and design in NYC.
