Charming traditional stone village house in rural south of France in cobbled stone square. The village of Mailhac is situated in the Minervois, the beautiful wine growing region of Languedoc. The house is on 3 floors. On the top floor is a large eat-in kitchen opening onto a roof-top terrace where most living is done in the summer months. there is also a large living room on this floor. On the second floor are 3 double bedrooms and a toilet.washroom. On the bottom floor is a large bathroom with bath, shower, toilet, wash basin, washing machine and dryer. On this floor there is also another living room and a work room.

The village is surrounded by many historical sites including the Cathar castles, the medieval town of Carcassone, the fortress of Minerve perched high on it's cliff. The beautiful countryside of rolling hills covered with vineyards provides the perfect setting for hiking and bike riding. The Canal Midi provides opportunities for house boating or touring. Mailhac is nestled between the Pyrenees to the south and the Black mountains to the north. The Mediterranean beaches can be reached in 35 minutes.
